Our client, who is an international pharmaceutical, is looking for a Part-time Payroll Specialist (24 hours, 32 hours can be discussed) in Amsterdam. The client has a hybrid work model.

All applicants MUST have full legal authorization to work in the EU region independently and be fluent in both spoken and written English & Dutch language.

The role

The main purpose of the Payroll Specialist role is to ensure timely and accurately processing of monthly and annual payroll and time & attendance tasks, as well as all benefits related administration. This is a "go-to" role for most employees questions and requests.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

Under supervision and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations, CLA and internal policies, procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Accurate & timely collection of payroll input data for all entities received from HR and other departments;
  • Conducts close review/monitoring of records for payroll changes submitted; works in a highly collaborative environment;
  • Answering basic payroll questions from employees and/or managers concerning payroll mutations;
  • Accurate and timely processing of payroll;
  • Accurate and timely processing of benefit plan mutations (eg. Pension fund, Benify, etc);
  • Create employers' statements;
  • Key interface between outsourced payroll provider (ADP & Mazars) and employees internally; as well as regular interaction with all external official bodies;
  • End-to-end HR Operations, incl. Time & Attendance (time-Wize & Employee central) and Payroll Systems (Oracle).

Profile candidate

  • Ideally 5+ years of relevant and comparable payroll and benefits experience for the Netherlands;
  • Associates PDL Degree in payroll. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree;
  • Experience in working in projects;
  • Experience working with ADP is a plus;
  • Basic accounting skills;
  • Oracle experience desired;
  • Service oriented and flexible attitude;
  • Good social and communication skills both verbally and in writing (English and Dutch);
  • Able to work independently, as needed, exercising judgment and initiative;
  • Structured, timely and accurate with focus on details;
  • Discretion, integrity and confidentiality in dealing with salary and other employee data;
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and GDPR.

What do we offer

  • Temporary agency contract via Kelly Services for 12 months with the intention to convert to FTE contract client
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Salary depending on experience: between 4300EUR-4700EUR gross per month based on 40 hours / 2580EUR-2820EUR gross per month based on 24 hours
