For our client, a company in the Technical branch, we are looking for an Technical Inventory Coordinator based in Amersfoort.
Our hardware technical support team is in need of an experienced Inventory Coordinator. The position is based at our workshop and warehouse facility near Amersfoort, in the Netherlands .
The role ensures the team has the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time. You will also coordinate all interactions between the hardware support team and the logistics team. The working hours are usually fixed at 8:30am to 5:30pm, except on the rare occasion when some overtime is requested.
The ideal candidate will have previously managed inventory and logistics of equipment in a hardware tech support environment. They will be experienced with coordinating inventory in a workshop environment as well as across international borders.
Responsibilities
- Support physical inventory counts as required.
- Physically inbound & outbound equipment to/from of the Tech Support Hub.
- Ensuring physical inventory is in the correct location.
- Opening and overseeing logistics tickets.
- Ensuring healthy flow of equipment to/from the field.
- Monitor spares and consumables and proposing reorders.
- Monitor spares and consumables and proposing reorders.
- Manage equipment inventory and forecasting spares quarterly.
- Perform kitting, dekitting, and BOM transactions
- Creating new BOMs configurations for specific project requirements.
- Create reports at an agreed frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Disposal of inventory-tracked equipment.
- Coordinate purchasing requests
- Distribute material as requested by project owners.
- Propose innovative procedures and/or tools to more effectively manage inventory and consumable items.
- Identify correct part numbers for items requested by technicians and source the required parts.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 2 years relevant education after completion of high school.
- Basic technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic and IT components.
- Fluent English in writing, reading, and conversation.
- Car driving license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to lift and move heavy objects (25kg)
Nice to haves
- Dutch, or other languages.
- Knowledge of dangerous good regulations.
- Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Health, Safety and Environment training.
- Forklift license.
